THE SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMME
As part of the educational and leisure activities in a safe, well-supervised environment, KISU runs two camps as follows: 1) Camp KISU for children aged 2-8 years; and 2) KISU Sports Camp for students aged 8-16years). These two summer camps are available from Monday to Friday during the long vacation.
KISU employs qualified teachers, assistant teachers and tutors to ensure the success of the Summer Camps. Children need to bring a lunch box with a morning snack, as well as a water bottle and lunch is provided by the school. Water will be available to refill their bottles.
ENROLMENT AND PAYMENTS
Enrolments forms are available from the school office and bookings are made on a daily or weekly basis for both camps. All payments are made in advance at the School Bursar's office. Cheques should be made payable to Kampala International School Uganda.
CAMP KISU (2-8 years)
This Camp operates on a 9am - 2pm schedule of fully structured activities programmed from Monday through to Friday. It incorporates educational and fun activities, including music, drama, dance, art and craft, Physical Education, cookery, video, bike club, games, swimming and IT. Supervision is available from 8am - 2:30pm.
KISU SPORTS CAMP (8 - 16 years)
This Camp offers a variety of sporting activities run by expert coaches. Participants will usually have daily swimming activities in the KISU swimming pool before lunch. More keen swimmers can take advantage of the Swimming Squad sessions that happen earlier at 8am each morning.
The KISU Sports Camp programme offers the following:
1. Cricket, football, basketball
2. Football, hockey, rugby
3. Basketball, hockey, cricket
4. Football, tag rugby, tennis
5. Basketball, cricket, football
