Lee Wilson, our School Director, brings over 20 years of international experience in the education sector, spanning the UK, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Tokyo, and the UAE. Known for his innovative and inclusive approach, Lee has held key leadership roles in various international schools, positively impacting the education of thousands of students.
A firm believer in the High-Performance Learning (HPL) philosophy, Lee has implemented teaching methodologies that emphasise cognitive development and led a former school to achieve HPL accreditation. A strong proponent of technology, he also led a school in Singapore to Apple Distinguished School status.
Lee’s qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, a PGCE from Lancaster University, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Monash University, Australia. He has also enhanced his skills through extensive professional development and is an accredited Cognitive Coach.
With his philosophy grounded in the transformative power of education, Lee aims to foster a stimulating environment at Kampala International School that promotes academic excellence and cultivates globally-conscious citizens. Lee’s comprehensive pedagogical approach is greatly informed by his extensive travels across over 30 countries, emphasising the importance of multicultural understanding.
