Mr. Xavier F. Fernandez is the Head of English as an Additional Language and the Global Perspectives Teacher, with over 28 years’ experience in teaching and teacher-training.

Passionate about ESL/EFL/EAL teaching, 21st century skills development, growth mindset, and inclusive education, he brings expertise in teaching at all levels, teacher training, and interpersonal skills.

Xavier holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Cardiff University, UK, a TESOL and a TEFL certificate from Trinity College London, and a Teacher’s License from the MOE in the UAE. Xavier’s leadership style focuses on serving, leading by example, collaborative practices, and emotional intelligence.

Outside work, he enjoys family time, sports, music, travel, languages, and literature.
